Appalachian Rainforest: The Appalachian rainforest receives one of the highest rainfall-it receives 60 inches of rain every year. The Appalachian rainforest is a temperate rainforest situated on the east of the U.S. The forest stretches for 351,500 sq. km across southwestern Virginia, North Carolina, and east of Tennessee.
